Fotenix pioneers the 'metaverse of agriculture' through its patented methodology, combining active narrow band lighting with photometric stereo imaging to create highly detailed 3D spectral digital twins of crops. Using readily available components, the system is low-cost, scalable, and integrates seamlessly with farm suppliers. Machine learning analysis of these virtual plant models enables earlier detection of stress or disease, which improves yields, labour efficiency and sustainability.

Therefore worked with Fotenix to evolve their INDIA prototype into a product ready for mass production. We defined key attributes against industry requirements, created a clear specification and roadmap, and collaborated with engineering partners to drive the design forward. Alongside this, we established a manufacturing strategy, certification pathway, and structured lifecycle plan — ensuring the product could be seamlessly deployed at scale with reliable performance and straightforward setup for end users.
