Water damage claims in the UK accounted to £629m in 2014. They approached us to design and develop Leakbot, a product to ‘stop little leaks becoming big problems.’ LeakBot can spot leaks anywhere in your home’s fresh water plumbing system, alerting you quickly to potential problems. LeakBot’s Thermic-Flo technology and intelligent algorithm means it can tell the difference between day to day water use and a persistent leak – smart.
We designed Leakbot to not only be charming but also extremely easy to use and set-up. A unique clip design was created to ensure a solid connection on all standard pipe sizes and allow users to install with a single hand in a cluttered cupboard under the sink. We liaised closely with the toolmakers and factories to ensure the quality of the final design.
